Oxford Union Debating
On Monday evening, the School debating team took part in the regional round of the Oxford Union Debating Competition, the largest school debating competition in the world.
In a high-calibre field of forty teams, our students competed strongly against schools from across the region, vying for a place in the top four teams that would see them qualify for Finals Day.
We are delighted to confirm that two of our teams - Eleanor Y/Matthew H and Jasper P/Gleb S were able to secure a top four finish and so will now travel to the Oxford Union in March to compete for the title against the best teams in the country and from around the world.
